What's in a Number? Final comps

Whew, the class is over - it was a LOT of work.  Never worked so hard in a graphic design class. But I am happy with the results and learned how to expand on a concept and build unity within an ad campaign.  Only two more required classes before I get my graphic design certificate - YEA!

THANK YOU Prof Angela Willcocks for all your help!

  1. Roseannah a beautiful presentation - thanks.
NUMBERS PAINTED ON ENVIRONMENT: A very intriguing and interactive way to engage the public on college campus. You really tailored your idea down to numbers that mean something and gives a very fact driven campaign. Your research has been comprehensive and resulted in clear ideas. GUERILLA; spraying the number
2./3. SMALL POSTERS: The second part of the campaign – informing the public about the numbers with lottery concept for the information cards – is it a lottery where you live? Is it a lottery when a plant has an accident? Numbers are associated with lottery? Great follow through. Your use of type and color as well as graphic application of text that overlays the image was well designed. Creating a series of graphic and informative statistics that are perceived as scientific and therefore we can believe.
    4. POSTER: This is the answer to the graffiti numbers around campus and the lottery images. Great use of typography, the numbers boldly take you down the page in a very heavy and significant way while the informative text follows the movement across the page. Big and small, line and shape!
Three weeks later all the information comes to fruition. Color means fire and problematic. You are a delight to have in class – pushing yourself to really do excellent work - congratulations on the results
    5. SOCIAL NETWORKING: I am very enthusiastic that you followed through with the social networking as advertising! This will be a part of our future and by integrating photos of people with numbers, having people join a fan page if very engaging and fits your target market! Join the conversation – taking photos with the numbers - this is a form of ambient advertising
    6. IDEA / Slogan: WHATS IN A NUMBER – you came a long way to really tailor your idea to a simple clean presentation with many different facets – congratulations and thanks for all your hard work.
